Get To Know ID: Jeff Luke, Program Manager

Happy Monday! We’re starting the week off…hungry! Can we get a chef in the ID@Xbox offices to whip up something tasty?

No, huh? Well, we’ll just have to settle for cheffluke!

Let’s chat with Jeff Luke (AKA Cheff Luke), our awesome program manager!
What is your name?

Jeff Luke! There is literally nothing exciting about why I was named that… My parents simply just thought I was a Jeff.

What is your quest?

To seek the Holy Grail, of course. But when I’m not doing that, I suppose it’s to star in a Mento’s commercial. Or becoming the new singer of the theme song.

What is your favorite color?

Every shade of green. Even dirty diaper green.

What other names do you go by?

Cheffro, Jeffro, Jefe, Luke.

What is your alignment?

Probably Lawful Good. AKA I’m super boring.

Do you have a familiar?

No pets, but sloths are my spirit animal. Why? If you gotta ask, you don’t deserve to know.

What kind of video games do you like to play?

All games! But I’m especially in love with Metroidvania games. Having worked on games for years, they are still one of my favorite types to make!

What kind of music do you listen to?

Only 90’s R&B. Oh and Punk Rock, Classical, Heavy Metal, Classic Rock… Uhh. I guess pretty much everything… (EXCEPT COUNTRY!)

What kind of books do you read?

Kids’ books mostly, because the only time I have time to read books is to my kids. But back in the day… All Horror, all Sci-Fi.

Do you have a secret skill that few people know about?

I wish… Or maybe I do and the only people who have discovered it have been taken care of?…

What’s your favorite random fact about yourself?

I sang the theme song to Lakewood Plaza Turbo (before it was OK KO Let’s Be Heroes).

Where can people find you on the Internet?

On the Twitters @cheffluke!

BONUS: Jeff also provided the vocals for this track from Mighty Switch Force 2:
