Yay, we haven’t done a team profile in a while! Today we’re getting to know events program manager Becca Waters!
What is your name?
What is your quest?
To seek the Holy Grail. (Sorry, I know it’s already been said, but I feel there are no other acceptable answers…)
What is your favorite color?
What other names do you go by?
Becca, Becky (only to my mom), Beck, Becks, Bobecca, Jerkface (thanks to my dear older brother), Andrade/Andy (courtesy of many years playing WoW), Astra (summer camp counselor name – also the basis of my gamertag).
What is your alignment?
I feel like this question is a trap… but probably lawful neutral?
Do you have a familiar?
Not currently. I used to have partial ownership of a saltwater fish tank (I bought things for it, but didn’t have to do the work to take care of it, it was great!).
What kind of video games do you like to play?
Lots of different things! I’ve played WoW for years, but when it comes to console gaming, I tend to put the most time into action RPGs.
What kind of music do you listen to?
Mostly pop, alternative rock, and 90’s R&B. But I also have some great film/video game scores playlists.
What kind of books do you read?
Sci-fi/Fantasy for the most part. But my favorite is Pride and Prejudice.
Do you have a secret skill that few people know about?
I’m really good with maps/directions. Like scary good. I take one look at a map and it’s pretty much burned into my brain. I always know where I am and which way to go.
What’s your favorite random fact about yourself?
When selling Girl Scout cookies, we always had the option to either get chintzy prizes for selling a certain amount or accept a portion of the profit per box sold. The girls in my troop always took the money. I sold enough Girl Scout cookies to go on three different vacations (stayed on an aircraft carrier in Charleston, SC, spent a week in NYC, and did a Caribbean cruise).
