Week in Review – PAX, Games With Gold announced, and more!

Since we were out at PAX this weekend, we’re a little behind on getting this posted, so without further ado, here’s what happened last week!

Two developers, both studios behind recent ID@Xbox releases, held an AMA on reddit! Find out what Young Horses (Octodad) and Funktronic Labs (Nova-111) had to say to your questions!

The Spotlight Sale this week featured deep discounts on a number of ID@Xbox titles. There’s still time to pick up any you missed out on, but hurry, the sale ends tomorrow!

Want to jump in to Smite, but not sure how to start? You’re in luck, as the Xbox Wire team has put together a great instructional post for beginners! (In addition to our own “Getting Started in 7 Steps“, you should have all the ammo you need to give your foes a good smiting!)

We held the second Pre-PAX Open House, featuring playable versions of over 50 upcoming games, and brought the developers in to talk about them and answer questions! (We’ll have more about PAX itself later on.)

Other announcements:

The hugely popular space physics simulator Kerbal Space Program is coming to Xbox One!

September’s Games With Gold have been announced! Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to download and play The Deer God for free if you have an active Gold membership!

Chariot DLC incoming! The team at Frima announced the new content with this tweet, do you see any hints?
